Hi
Can anybody help me. I subscribed to Photographic Magazine, and my first issue about 3 weeks ago was their last according to the editorial. I have received np correspondance from them, and when i try to access their web site, i automatically get relocated to this site.
On the 16th i sent an e-mail to Shutterbugs "contact us " address askin wether there was an automatic transfer of subscrition to them [ Being the sister magazine ], or is it just bad luck and i miss out.
So far nobody has bothered to reply. Is this the treatment that i can expect from this organization, it's just not good enough.
Why on earth would anybody want to subscribe with them if there is only one way communication.
Is there anybody else in the same position who can tell me , what happens now.
Go to the Shutterbug home page and read the lead article by George Schaub and Ron Leach, then read Ron Leach's blog. Short answer: PhotoGRAPHIC is no more. Sorry.....
ya...my subscription problem is with SHUTTERBUG...!
sent my payment Dec 5th, USPS money order 22.96, for myself and a friend, like I've done for years.
they are telling me they never received it and to send it AGAIN...BS ...I seriously doubt that the postal service lost it...SHUTTERBUG lost it.
so...Iam done with SHUTTERBUG
>>.I seriously doubt that the postal service lost it...<<
I hope you are not serious, because if you are you're seriously deluded.
Thanks Bill, i read what you suggested. The blog indicated that i should be contacted soon.
The same thing happened to me with a UK magazine " Digital Phote Effects " but the publishers contacted all their subscribers early, giving them the option of being transferred to the sister magazine " Digital camera " or claiming a refund.
This would be the fair thing to do. If not, Shutterbug will get some bad publicity in the many forums to which i belong.
Seems petty i know, but at least it will give me some consolation.

David....delusion seems to run in the family at Shutterbug.
In 40 years of using the USPS I've not had anything misplaced or lost previously...the screw-up is at Shutterbug no doubt...
Beejay,
It might help to remember that Shutterbug did not publish Photographic. Both were published by Primedia. So, if you have a problem, it's with Primedia, not Shutterbug.....
A couple of months ago, the USPS delivered a partially shredded front cover of the latest Time Magazine. So, I guess it was Time's fault?
It's an imperfect world. Relax and enjoy it.....
Hi Guys.
Thank you for your feedback.
I have just received an e-mail from customer service at Shutterbug, stating that there will be an automatic transfer, and i will receive my first issue in 4-6 weeks.
Maybe it is true that the wheel that sqeaks the loudest gets the most oil.
I'm happy now.
