I like to take alot of landscape and nature pics,also I take some pics at school sporting events and family outings, boating etc. I have been wanting to get a SLR for about a year but I just cant seem to make up my mind. Right now I have a cannon S31s and an olympus C750 both are P&S.I get good pics but would like something more. I really like the live view and have been concidering one of the new olympus cameras E410 or E510 that are due out next month or should I go with the Panasonic lumix.Do I go with a kit or piece it toghter. I want a long zoom with the pics of wildlife that I take. PLEASE HELP

If you go with Olympus, look at the 50-200mm lens for wildlife. It has an equivalent of 100-400 in 35mm terms. Combine it with the 1.4x tc and you should be able to get all but the smallest of birds. The 14-54mm, 28-108 equiv. is on my camera most of the time and does well with most landscapes. if you are into forced perspective, OLY does have some really wide glass.
