I am looking for a software program to make slide shows with. I also need to include some video clips in the show. I want to be able to set a date or number of times the show can be seen. I need to be able to make a CD and a DVD with it. It must be able to run without additional software on the persons computer or DVD player that I would give it to.
Right now I have purchased Photodex Pro Show Producer. It does all the things I would like to do except that certain functions in the program make the software crash on my computer. The people at Photodex have no idea why this is happening and have no suggestions on how to fix it. They say I am the only one with this problem. They are willing to give me a refund of the $400.00 that I paid for it. I am thinking about taking them up on the refund.
Any suggestions on another brand of software will be welcome.
Thanks

Joe, check out Ulead, a tip I got in my post from David here in the forum. Adobe now has PSE 4.o that has a slide show function; also PSE Album might do for the videoclips.

You might check out Adobe Premier Elements at the Adobe web site. They have just announced a new version 2.0 that will be on shelves in a couple of weeks or so. Inexpensive and easy to use video editing that supports recording on DVD so it will run on a player connected to a TV. It of course will interface easily with Adobe Photoshop Elements to process the still images to use as video frames.
