Shutterbug Photo of the Day: “Yosemite Valley Autumn Mist” by Susan Taylor

Our Shutterbug Photo of the Day by Susan Taylor is an ethereal vision of mist flowing down from the mountains to enshroud the forest below.

“It's so exhilarating photographing Yosemite National Park while a storm is clearing. My handy weather app was spot on this time! Mist, fog and weather was due to arrive in Yosemite Valley the next morning so I jumped in my camper with my two little dogs that night and rushed up there again. I was transcended by the incredible light, fall colors and moody misty weather,” writes Taylor.

This image was captured with a Canon 5D MKIII camera, a Canon f/2.8 24-70mm II lens, an Induro tripod with a Really Right Stuff head. Processed from a single image using Lightroom 6.
