Shutterbug Photo of the Day: “Josh the Bear” by Lorenzo Cassina

Today’s Shutterbug Photo of the Day is this wonderful close-up of a bear by Lorenzo Cassina. Lorenzo captured the shot with a Nikon D80 and Sigma 70-300mm lens at f/4.2, 1/80 sec, ISO 640.

“Josh is a 14 year old, 600 lb Black Bear rescued as a cub and cannot live in the wild,” Cassina writes about this image. Cassina volunteers at Flamingo Gardens in Florida, which raised funds to build a large, 8000-square-foot habitat with its own pool and cave for Josh the Bear.
