Shutterbug linage

Back in the late 1960's I worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in West Palm Beach as a high-speed instrumentation photographer and one of my buddies used to commute between Cocoa Beach and the plant. He frequently had copies of the Shutterbug Ads which was a small publication, under 20 pages as I recall, that had used photo equipment for sale. We were always going through it looking for deals on equipment. Did Shutterbug Magazine evolve from that publication? If so, it is one heck of a leap forward.

Yes that is the genesis and the editorial office is still in Titusvile, Florida, But really not so much of a leap considering that was almost 30 years ago when Glen Patch began Shutterbug.
