I am new to Digital Cameras and need to know how I need to set my 40D up to use it with a couple of Monolights. I plan on firing 1 light through PC cord and have the other setup as a Slave. But I don't know how I should set my camera up to do this. On my film SLR I set it to TV Mode and set my sync speed up and adjusted my f stop to what the Light meter called for. I have set my camera to TV mode but don't know if that is correct. And I don't know how to adjust the F stop on this camera. Can anyone help me with this as I need to get this figure out as I have a Photo Shoot coming up in a couple of weeks. Thanks for any help.

As far as using studio electronic flash with a dSLR, it is essentially the same as with a film camera. Set the camera to manual aperture/shutter seed, set the shutter to what the specified flash sync speed is. The measure the light with a flash meter and set the aperture for the ISO speed at which you are exposing.
