Seek info on stock photo sites

I am doing an initial feasibility study on
starting a stock-photo site for my employer.
Does anyone out there know of any good resources for this
sort of thing? i.e: market volume, site comparisons, etc.

Any info greatly appreciated!

Here's one of the main orgs for this. It's composed of a group of stock agencies.

You also need a program like FotoQuote for pricing structure. It's the standard in the stock industry:

I'm not sure if you are still looking for information but I run a site called About The Image that has links to all of the major stock photo sites and covers issues related to stock photography.
