I would try B&H Photo Video or Adorama. They are advertised in Shutterbug. Both carry a lot of special pro stuff.

Isn't 126 the same size as 120? If so, I take the slide holder out and tape the 120 neg's over the larger hole. Of course if ya wanna do it right, ya probally ought to buy the right scanner. I'm gonna do that one of these days!

No it is not the same size, very much smaller. The size I believe you are thinking of that has the same film width as 120 is 620. If I recall the film width of 126 is just over one inch.

The actual film stock width of 126 is the same as 35mm, but there are only notches on one side of the stock. The actual image area is square, and it originally was in a cassette similar in design to 110, but much larger. The format died a slow death due to film flatness problems and the square format** wasn't all that popular. One note is that the Kodacolor film stock was much thicker than it's 35mm cousin, probably to compensate for poor film flatness due to the cassette's design.

**The square format wasn't too popular--one reason was the lack of square format frames available to the general public.

There were some really nice 126 cameras, but unfortunately they died along with the format.

I do not know what the Canon scanner is like but on my Epson I never use the holders for scanning. I just scan by putting the negative on the glass. I find the holders to be a pain except for the 35mm negative and side holders. Monte Johnson.

You live in a climate area that has pretty dry air most of the time. If you were further East, South, or on the West Coast humidity would create Newton rings if you put the film in contact with glass.
