The Royal Rose | Shutterbug

I used a 55-200mm non-macro lense on my D50 with a close up 2 filter. CS2 was used to interpolate the image out to 13.4 mega pixels using bicubic smoother and then the contrast and sharpness were adjusted. I shrank the image back down to 1.5MP for this web page.

I like the shot and understand the hassle of rose shots, but there is a little blur in this shot. I like the technical knowledge listed above, and it's clear to see that we will see many more of your great shots in the days to come.

Good close-up but the whole pix is rather dull where the interlocking petals could have a little more highlight to add more zest to the pix. May I suggest you try the specialist software S-Spline Pro for enlargement/interpolation of digital pix?
