I have changed the cartridge and cleaned the heads, but my Epson 925 still exhibits red lines on the print. These lines are sporadic. how can I get rid of them?
Ronk,
What is the result if you use the Epson driver utility and run a Nozzle Check printout? If it is clear, then the physical functioning of the printer MAY not be the cause. And, what could cause that is some fault in the transfer of the print image information possibly.
David, I removed and reinstalled the drivers, did a cleaning cycle, re aligned the print heads and did a nozzle check this seemed to work.
This is a pain! I probably don't print often enough to keep things happy in there.
Ronk,
If you make just a small image on plain paper about once a week instead of letting the printer sit idle for long periods, you'll avoid a lot of problems. And, be sure to turn the printer off when it is not actually being used, that sets the printhead down on its resting pad and keeps air away from the nozzles and avoids the ink drying and clogging the jets..
Always have iot turnrd off when not in use. Will try printing once a week.
Thanks.
