Recovery of images from ?damaged? CF card.

About 100 images into a shoot with my Konica Minolta 5d, I get an -E- on the Screen and then a request to format the card. I tried to read the images in the camera, but no luck. I tried reading with a CF reader, but nothing. Is there some software to recover the images or is my entire shoot lost?

I second that one. PhotoRescue is an amazing piece of software which we use regularly here at work. Not only is it downright cheap for what it does, but it does it VERY well.

Oftentimes you simply can't go and reshoot. You have to either recover the images or the whole effort's lost. PhotoRescue's a life-saver at times like that.
