Can anyone tell me if your camera speed when your using the radio trigger should slow down? I am new with using the lights and trying to learn on my own. The picture also turns out looking as if it is a motion shot and very blury. Once I take the trigger off of the hot shoe the camera works fine. Thanks! trying to get better.

I'm a Nikon person and have no experience with Canon. But it sounds like you're letting the camera decide on the aperture and shutter speed, instead of setting it yourself. Every camera has a sync speed, which is the maximum shutter speed the camera is capable of and still sync with the flash. It's usually 1/200 or 1/250 second. If you set the camera to shutter speed priority and set it to the maximum sync speed, your pictures won't have blurring. But your lens still has to be fast enough to give you the proper exposure.
