I'm new to this forum but I'm not new to photography. I love playing around with new ideas that come to me. But recently, my boyfriend and I have come to a stand still with a photo we want to do. I own a Nikdon D50 and we were wanting to do a photo shoot of his car [05 Acura RSX-S] as it was driving but wanted everything in the background to be clear, just show that his wheels were moving.
We tried this in SEVERAL places [track, parking deck..] and each time the photos just came out too blurred. He wants to think that its b/c I dont have a good enough lens which I don't think thats the case. I want to say maybe its the lighting?
They do this in professional car photos all the time and he shows his car so he wants Nice looking photos of it in action.
Is there any way anyone can help me out or maybe suggest something I could do differently? Or is this a photoshop technique??? I'm sure I can play around with it in photoshop, but that's not what I'm trying to achieve here. Thank you for any help you may be able to offer
