What is the best way of putting images/photos onto other items such as plates, purses, etc. <!--color-->

Are you asking about doing this yourself, or sending the photos out for specialty prints? Several of the online services like Shutterfly and Ofoto offer these types of print jobs.

These people sell the equipment needed to do this type of work as well as other photo novelty items.

You might also try Badge a Minute.

These companies are for commercial applications.

If you need just one or two of an item, try the local Ritz Camera store or MPix or Richmond Camera and probably many of the other on line service bureaus.

Casi/QLT also sells edible ink sheets for transfer to cakes!!!
