I have been told that Modern Photography Magazine published a article in July, 1985 that really explains Polarizer Filters and their use. Is anyone familiar with it, or can tell me where I can download a copy??
Thanks for any help

That is a bit long ago, but you might try doing a Google search, I am sure you'll find at least something just as good, it is no secret. It just gets a little complicated as polarizing filters have some side effects with modern cameras, you have to use one that is OK for the camera you are using.
This PDF is as close as you can get to the original article

Thank you for the help, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks again

1985 is still a long time ago and well before dSLR's, so not being a polarizing filter user, I would think something more up to date is needed to be sure a polarizer works without ill-effects with digital. I would think what is pertinent to digital today would be important.
