Just getting into sprots photography and I was wondering if it is safe to use my 40D with a battery grip and a canon 70 to 200 is 2.8
in the rain. I have seen some people using there cameras in the rain and I'm just nervious and don't want to distroy my camera.
Is it safe to use it with some of these rain gear acc. that I have seen advertised?

If you don't want to pay for one of the commercial rain protection products, you can try using a two gallon zip lock bag and a clear filter for protection. Make sure to keep a towel handy to wipe down the equipment if it gets wet.
