I sincerely tried to be patient in this matter. But now I am getting extremely pissed off. I'd mentioned in previous posts & emails to shutterbug that I bought my subscription of photographic magazine last year and wondered why for months I hadn't received a subscription to photographic (stopping in about october or november).
I then learned after logging onto what used to be the photographic website forwarded to shutterbug that the former was being folded into the latter. According to what I learned, I would be offered the remainder of my photographic subscription in shutterbug issues.
I also wrote customer no-service and was told that I would be offered a discount on a future shutterbug subscription, but I never received any such notification in the mail. I haven't heard anything since the announcment and my subsequent e-mail last year. I have also not received any refunds for my unsent issues remaining.
I know fellow photographers who subscribed to photographic who are in the same situation who are now possible exploring legal action for breach of contract or whatever the correct legal filing would be. I'm not joining them at this point because I'd still like to resolve this amicably, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, especially those who were duped out of multiple-year subscriptions.
