Flash Adapts To Many Cameras
The new Quantaray DC800 hot shoe electronic flash (available exclusively at
Ritz Camera Centers) can be adapted to digital SLRs such as the Nikon (D-TTL/TTL)
and Canon (E-TTL) with a digital module and it can also be used with existing
35mm film cameras with the proper module. The flash is controlled entirely by
the camera via information sent through the electronic connection in the shoe.
It has bounce, swivel, and a zoom head to match the lens focal length for more
efficient field coverage. Energy-saving circuitry gives a fast recycling time
of 0.3-10 seconds. The MSRP of the flash alone is $70 plus the needed camera
module, which is $140 more. Contact: Ritz Camera Centers, Inc., (877) 690-0099;
