Photo Album Question

I'm looking to create a soft back magazine style photo album with my digital photos. I want it to look like LIFE or Time's year in picture issues, a real professional feel. I've ordered hard back photo albums from places like shutterfly and iPhoto, but really want a magazine feel to this.
What is available in either software or products online where pics are uploaded??

I get mine at Art Media, an art supplies store in Portland Oregon.

Thanks for info, but I didn't see a product or service like what I'm looking for from Art Media's website. There must be a printing service that would allow uploaded images and text to be published and mailed to the designer. Or maybe software where the owner can be the designer and a final product is sent off for publishing.
Still looking...
