Hi,
Does anyone know anything about this type of camera and projector? and whether it's worth anything?
I have a center sprocket pathex projector from the 1920's and the movie camera used to shoot the film. Both are made in France.
Also:
Original - movie reels
Hal Roach two reel comedy c-531
Our Gang in "The Firefighters".
All film in original tin from the 20's.
Tin reads....Pathex....patent applied for...made in France.
Also have original reel IC-861.....Our Gang in the Barn Baby Show.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
ttarral

Hi,
You didn't mention on what format (i.e. 16mm) the film and
projector have.
I might point out that films from that era were mainly on a nitrate base and are extremely flamable--can even explode with heat. If they feel "sticky or gummy" to touch, they
are especially dangerous. Be sure to store the films in a very cool place, or seal the cannisters and freeze them.
I suspect the films may have more collector value than the projector, depending on their condition.
