Palm Beach Photographic Centre AnnouncesInaugural Grand Opening Exhibition

Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced that the nonprofit organization's inaugural Grand Opening Exhibition at City Center will be: Celebrating US! Photographs from Presidential Inaugurations & Historic White House Moments.

On view will be photographs that capture the emotion and drama of the Presidential swearing-in ceremonies and historic White House moments of Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, Lyndon B. Johnson and John F. Kennedy. Celebrating US! will open on November 13 and run through early January.

“What better way to inaugurate the Palm Beach Photographic Centre's beautiful new $11-million home in City Center than with an inauguration-based exhibition,” said NeJame. “And the theme of Celebrating US! has many meanings because we are celebrating the U.S., celebrating democracy, celebrating our wonderful new 26,000 square foot location in downtown West Palm Beach, and celebrating the incredible work of some remarkable photojournalists, several of whom will attend our Grand Opening.”

“A longtime supporter and frequent lecturer at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, Mr. Kennerly is scheduled to attend the Grand Opening celebration on November 13 along with Mr. McNeely, Ms. Ballard and several other nationally known photographers,” said NeJame. “We also intend to present these and other distinguished presidential photojournalists in a special panel discussion and/or workshop for PBPC members.”
