Exactly what kind of problems are you having? Tell us exactly what you are doing and what you wish to accomplish.

The cropping procedures for Paint Shop Pro 8,9,X and XI are
basically the same with only minor variations.

1) Go to View> Pallettes> click on Tool Options
to make sure that the Tool Options Pallette is visable.
2) Make sure that you have sized the image to the
correct ppi for which you will need, i.e. 300 ppi for
prints.
3) For "set" crop sizes, click on Presets and then select
the proper size of the finihed image you wish. This will
bring up a rectangle on the image which you can move around
to where you wish the crop to be.
4) Double click on the center to make the crop.

There's my problem. I wasn't doing that. I was using the cropping tool on the left side of the screen and dragging it over my picture to include what I wanted the picture to be. Then when I saved it the picture was still the same as the original
