I recently purchased an Olympus Evolt E-330 and received the Olympus Master software. After installing the version that came with the camera and upgrading it to version 1.42, I found a free download on the Olympus site for Master 2. I haven't played enough with either one to have yet mastered Master, but 1.42 actually seems to have more abilities than does 2. 1.42 allows me to select specific sections of a photo and adjust gamma, color, contrast, brightness, etc. in just that section, which is VERY useful. But I haven't found a way to do this in Master 2. So basically, what good is Master 2? Before I uninstall Master 2, is there anything I should know that could make me change my mind? Right now, I don't need multiple redundant programs clogging up my computer, but I'm too new to the "digital darkroom" to be sure of what I'm doing yet. Is anyone here familiar enough with these programs to tell me precisely what the advantages/disadvantages are between the two?
