N.Y.I.P.???

Those that have acually attended this course of study, what did it do for you and your career as a photographer.

I ask because I going to enroll very shortly. Also was wondering what I could realisticlly expect from this program.

Hope that was clear enough, sometimes I think too much and confuse things, like me.

I took the course many yrs ago and found it helpful. It is a systematic way to learn the technical, artistic and business ends of photography. I found that it gave me confidence in promoting myself and my abilities.

As I've said in other posts, NYIP has been around since 1915 so they must be doing something right. I had a lot of general, uncoordinated knowledge of photography before taking the course. They will teach you to focus on the essentials (pun intended), and why that's important to becoming a successful photographer. As Ronk said, check out the other threads on this subject for more answers....

hhmmmm..... sounds alot like me.

Well I made a decision to enroll. I've thought about this for quite a while. And Yes Ronk your right, I am the only one that can MAKE me a working pro. But without the technical knowledge base, things are a lot harder than they should be. I've learned that through other experiances.

I'm 32 years old with 2 beautifull daughters, and I'm tired of working my tail off in a dead end job.

Other than God and My family, photography is my passion!
Might as well make a living doing something I love rather than something I very much dislike.
