Is there one? I know it seems like a bit of a stupid question, it seems like there has to be some sort of error message when something goes wrong but it seems as though it's a lot more prevalent with Canon.

I ask because I shoot Canon and lately I've been getting this message more often. It's caused me to miss a lot of great shots.

I google "Canon 20D error" and I see complaint after complaint. I google "Nikon D200 error" and I see absolutely no relevant hits.

What's the deal?

I'm not here to stir up a Canon vs. Nikon debate and I know that the equipment is only as good as the photographer but when the equipment doesn't work when the photographer needs it to: what's the point?
