I have this Nikon film scanner and have experienced the usual problem it presents when scanning Kodachrome slides of color shifts, etc. Your article regarding the Plustek scanner with SilverFast software was very interesting regarding the function of SilverFast in dealing with Kodachrome. The cost of purchasing the Silverfast software is not overly practical to me. Your informed opinion, please, of the VueScan software's worth with the Nikon as opposed to either the SilverFast software for the scanner, or buying a new Plustek. <!--color-->
