Can I trust the sb600 in ttl auto mode with a nikon d50 to get the right exposure?
I'm going to be a "second" photographer at a wedding this weekend, and I've only had the flash a couple of days-- haven't really had time to learn or play with it.

The Sb600 will automatically do TTL with your hotshoe connection and does a fair job of metering based on if you select matrix, spot, or center weighted. If you have an AF lens , it should adjust the flash power based on focal length. Hope this helps. You can find helpful info about nikon products along with manuals that arent bad, at www.nikonusa.com and then click on technical support links.
