Sir,
I am new and do not know the tricks. How does this work please.
Whiplash88
Point it at the camera and press the button to activate the shutter. I've never had use for it. The infrared isn't strong enough depending on the amount of light where you have the camera set up on a tripod.
It came free with the CoolPix 8400 and you can purchase them new now for about $6 if you do a search. For wireless remote shutter release for my DSLR, I use a pair of Pocket Wizards and a Nikon connecting cord.
Hi Michael,
I have this remote with my Nikon D80 and I use it all the time. Works great for me.
(need to have good battery)
What Nikon Camera model are you using it with?
Regards,
Gary
Hi,
The camera I am using is a Nikon D3000. It says in the manual that it will work but I can't get it to do anything. Please help.
Thanks, Mike
