An interesting interview with a Nikon spokesman at http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000960042753
Very nice interview with Nikon! I was a little dismayed with most of the posted remarks regarding the behaviour of Nikon in general. The raw image encryption issue, not being in touch with the consumer, etc.
Personally, I'm probably one of the few who just don't give a hoot what Nikon does with their business. I don't have a problem with them encrypting their RAW files because I use their software (Capture) to edit with. I only use photoshop to do a little touchup to the image because I bother to try to get the image right in the camera before hand.
Nikon did not hurt my feelings in this interview and it certainly did not make me want to take a second look at a Canon product. After all guys, it's just an expensive box with a hole in it.
