Nikon D50 and SB-400 Flash

I don't use a flash very often and could never justify the cost of the 600 or the 800, but the 400 seems to fit the bill at a good price, but I'm wondering about compatibility with the D-50. Does anyone out there have any experience with this combination?

I use the SB-400 and D50 combo quite a bit. They work very well together. The flash doesn't make the camera top heavy and I can leave the flash on nearly all the time.
