Nikon Coolpix L1

Hello to everyone,

I have just purchased a Nikon Coolpix L1. It seems like a very good camera. the question that I have is : I have taken movie and loaded into my computer which comes out very well,but when I try to email it to someone use XP pro it will sit in the outbox for an hour and still not completed. I set the camera to 160x120 and less than a minute long. What can I do or what am I doing wrong

You give everything except the file size, which is the only important fact about the file and whether it will go out through e-mail. Most e-mail systems have approximately a 5 megabyte limit and you haven't stated how large your movie file is. If it's over 5 megabytes, you might want to try compressing it using a program like WinZip. But whatever the size, it's probably an issue with your ISP.

I found that the size was about 12 to 17 meg. I searched and found a program that changes the file from .mov to a .wmv and after converting the file it went from 17 meg to about 3 megs and sent very nicely via email.
