need help on night shots
Bill,
If it were the old days, I mean 50 years ago, I would not have put him off but sent him to his local camera store to buy a Kodak pocket guide to night photography. It was an amazingly adept little card 2.5x3.5" with a dial that had all the basic instruction and a way to match conditions and subject with the dial to read out exposure with different speed films.
I had one in my camera bag until maybe 10 years ago when it disintegrated from age, The guide was also included on a thick page in the back of the Kodak Guide Book that was sold as a loose-leaf binder for many years.

The topic is worthy of a book. I would be glad to help, but if I were to write generally on the topic, there would be no bandwidth left!
Browse my web-site - see signature below for the URL. I have many sections that contain available darkness photography, along with information on how many of the pictures were made. If they provoke specific questions, please come back here and ask. I will be glad to help if I can.
