New York Institute of Photography’s “Everyday Photography Book” Series

The New York Institute of Photography, the world’s largest and oldest photography school, announces the launch of a new consumer book series aimed at anyone with an interest in photography, called the Quick-and-Easy Everyday Photography Guides.

The first two titles in the series are “Top Travel Tips from Ten Pro Photographers” and “Top Ten Secrets for Perfect Baby & Child Portraits”. The goal of the Everyday Photography Guides is to relate professional tips and techniques to amateur photographers and photography enthusiasts who help to get more out of their cameras in day to day life.

Top Travel Tips from Ten Pro Photographers is written by NYIP Director Chuck DeLaney, with helpful input from ten successful travel photographers. Each photographer shares secrets and advice that they have learned throughout their careers, and relates them in an easy to understand way so that anyone with a digital camera can begin to take better photos of their travels and vacations. They openly share favorite photographs and advice to help hobbyist and amateur photographers come back from their outings and trips with excellent photographic art for their walls, websites, blogs, and family albums.

Top Ten Secrets for Perfect Baby & Child Portraits is written by Clay Blackmore, an innovator in the world of photography and portraiture and one of the elite Canon Explorers of Light. In the book, designed for parents and grandparents, he provides insight, background, tips, and guidelines for his ten favorite types of baby and child photographs, all based on lighting situations ranging from window light to setting up a makeshift home studio with one or more lighting sources. Color photographs from his professional and personal portfolio illustrate each step and provide inspiration.

These are the first two books in the series, with plans to continue to come out with new titles every year. Each book comes with bonus content available online. Both books are listed at $16.95 and are now available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.

I am going to study photography, because I believe in this way I go far with an education . The college is great, with old learning style and great teachers, a nice curriculum vitae and a nice job after that...Even their projects like this one are great, without those boring lessons like we use to have at the other schools.

I was waiting for a while some photography books and now, that NYIP announced the launch of the Quick-and-Easy Everyday Photography Guides, I can't wait to buy them. Especially the "Top Travel Tips" from Ten Pro Photographers, where I hope to find some street photography tips, which I can use to improve the quality of my travel photos.
