I just ordered Epson's Ultra Premium Glossy Photo Paper (S041935). Neither Photoshop or my Epson R1800 have a profile for this paper. Does Epson make them available to download? Has anyone tried this paper using another profile, such as Epson Premium Glossy?
Neil,
Check the Epson website's support section for a downloadable profile; they are pretty good at keeping things updated.

If there isn't an updated profile shown, send support and mail and they normally will answer within 24 hours. Also check the data sheet included with the paper.
Thanks to both of you for your reply. Epson's website does not yet offer this paper's profile to download. The info sheet included w/ the paper suggests using "Premium Glossy" profile if "Ultra Premium" is not available. That's what I'll do until a profile becomes available.
I'd appreciate your feelings on this paper after you evaluate it, especially if you compare it to their Premium.
Thanks
I purchased two packages of this paper in Staples (it was on promo $9.99 for 20 sheets and I figured I'd give it a try). It finishes up very nice on the R800. Aside from the promo the main attraction to me was the 11.8 mil sheets. If not able to print at a professional lab I would use this paper.
Hi All,
I also picked up a pack at Staples on sale. (It appears that it will be, at regular price, 2x the price of Premium).
My first impressions are a whiter base and somewhat sharper appearing. Maybe even a more saturated color, but it is difficult for me to give that subjective evaluation.
Certainly, in my eye, it is a better print. Is it worth the extra cost. I say only for special prints, or if you are a pro, you might find it worth it.
I do not like the fact that it can take up to 48 hrs for evaporation of solvent to occur. That will need improving or they will fail marketing this.
