new to digital slr

im looking for a lower end, or, student digital slr...i need one for school. any suggestions? im kinda short on money too

How short?

There are a ton of 6 megapixel Nikon D70 and Canon Digital Rebels available since they started as beginner DSLR cameras and have been replaced by newer models. Check eBay.

For buying used I'd go to KEH.com, I've never heard a bad thing about them. You may be able to find things slightly cheaper on ebay, but you may run into return problems if somethings wrong.

Broadway Photo (bwayphoto.com) sells reconditiond bodies and kits for very good prices. B&H (bhphotovideo.com) and Adorama (adorama.com) sell used gear, sometimes at surprizing prices, and have good return policies.
