Overall I think it came out ok, but the middle section did overexpose a little...what do you think?

I think it's over exposed and you've lost the detail in the highlights. Try experimenting with underexposing by one stop for two images. If it's still too light, underexpose by 1-1\2 stops. Keep accurate notes so you can duplicate it when you get it right.
