After reading so many negative stories I thought it would be nice to praise a company that provides great customer service.
Last summer I ordered one large print from mpix.com after seeing an ad in a photo magazine. I uploaded my photo on their website, chose the metallic paper for my 16X24" and paid with a credit card. Three days later the package arrived. I expected a pretty standard shipping package, maybe a cheap tube, instead the photo was wrapped so well that it took me 5 minutes to open the package. I was amazed at the quality of the print, the colors were perfect, just like I saw them on the screen. Needless to say I ordered 3 more prints, even one with their new digital B&W paper and, again, 3 days later I had my prints in excellent packaging (they charge only $4.95 for priority and less than $10 for fedex overnight). Last week I ordered 11 prints, 10 of them on metallic paper (Kodak Endura) and the last one B&W; for my stupidity I didn't realize you can only choose one paper so when I received the package all photos were B&W. I didn't know back then so I emailed customer service to find out why my color photos were B&W. I got a reply within 10 minutes. John, there, offered to reprint and sent me those 10 photos at no charge, even if I admitted it was my fault. I received them yesterday. I also ordered a portfolio last week and they did a great job with that too, my friends love it.
I'm very happy with MPIX, it's so hard to find people who care nowadays. I can't wait for them to start offering a photo book so I can start working on my brother's wedding album.
