Sunrise at the beach in the town of Mosselbaai, South Africa. I had scouted the location the day before and was out before sunrise trying to find the perfect spot to place my tripod. While waiting for the sun, several larger waves forced me to grab my gear and retreat so it wouldn't get soaked. Finally, the sun came up and I was ready, but seconds after I made this exposure, the waves came over the rocks and soaked me up to my knees. My gear took a beating that day, but it was completely worth it once I saw the shot that came out of the morning!
