I had this posted re: the January issue where the article appeared, but got no response. Mr. Farace reviewed this camera and showed an IR shot that the caption stated used a 3 second exposure. However, the specs for the camera say it only can go to 1 second. Was it a typo or can the camera exceed a full second?

I am not sure -- I took the attached photo yesterday, and the exposure data is as follows:
ISO-160
Exposure 1/4 sec
Aperture F/3.5
Exposure Compensation 0
-EdT.
