Minolta 5400 Scanner Under Rosetta

Anyone successfully run the Dimage 5400 scanner under Rosetta on an Intel Mac ?

Hi,
You might address this issue to David Brooks since he both tested the 5400 and has an Intel Mac himself.

The only really effective solution is to use Lasersoft SilverFast Ai6 to run the scanner. Its far superior to the original Minolta software anyway, so you gain more than just being able to use the scanner. And, you can try it out before paying for it, just go to http://www.silverfast.com

I use mine this way and have for about a year and many hundreds of scans. It has been reliable and produces the best 35mm scans I have ever obtained from a consumer scanner.
