Microsoft Vista / Adobe Photoshop compatible???

A several page document of FAQ's regarding issues of compatibility between Microsofts new operating system Vista and popular Adobe applications like Photoshop and InDesign have been posted on Adobe's web site at:

There are some fairly serious issues involved and Adobe's next version of Photoshop that is supposed to run on Vista is not even released yet in finished form.

So getting a new computer? You might want to think twice if it includes Vista.

Bill,

Likewise also considering the serious color management bug that was found by Chromix.com and is in my Vista report coming in the June issue. The problem will be for people purchasing new PC's and not aware, however most manufacturers will deliver with XP instead of Vista if requested.

There have also been problems reported on the Paint Shop Pro
news groups re Vista and PSP versions older than the current XI. Corel has also recently issued a "Vista" patch
for PSP X. The majority of the actual problems were that older "non Vista" compatable programs turned off the Vista Eye Candy.
