I have a 7.2 Mega Pixel Sony Cyber shot which allows me the option of using a memory stick pro or a compact flash Ultra II to record my pictures. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the two types.
Thanks,
Caleb

You might be able to find minor differences in write time, but I would only use NON proprietary memory because that's where the advancements are. The current Sandisk cards are spoken highly of on the forums.

Thanks you for your reply.
I'm not sure what you mean by NON proprietary memory. Could you please explain?

Memory stick is a proprietary memory format that only works with Sony cameras. The rest of the world uses Compact Flash.
