hello,
Can someone advise me as to which is better for digital pics, compact flash v microdrives?
I have found info on say, the Lexar pro 80x compact flash cards but am not having a lot of luck finding comparisons for microdrives. And no info on the write speed of MDs either.
And also not as many brands of microdrive which raises the question of whether they are made by one company (IBM?) and rebranded?
Anyway is there a best choice between Microdrive and CF? I tend to think that several 1 G cards might be the way to go?
help meeeee please.
thanks

MD's have moving parts, if dropped...
The faster cards will only work in cameras that have the ability to use them.
RE 1mb cards: not having all your eggs in one baskets is logical; if you shoot raw or raw + jpeg, you might need a bigger card for convenience. It would also depend upon the mp size of the camera.
