I would like to know if 8g is o.k. to use on a D3000 camera. Thank you.

I just got an 8 gig and shot in RAW format this past weekend and I stopped taking shots at number 759 and still had almost 2 gig of room left.

Yes but. If you put all your eggs (images on one card) in one basket, they can all disappear if the card gets corrupted. As long as you're aware of the risk.
