If anyone knows of a good, tactical purpose-made camera holster I would appreciate your input. I am looking for something to strap on my leg or thigh, preferably a MOLLE-type system. It needs to be ambidexterous so as not to interfere with a pistol. Basically I am looking for something to hold a EOS 10D camera body, with probably a medium range lens as well. Preferably I would like to have extra pouches or space to hold batteries and flash cards as well. Lightweight padding or waterproofing would be a bonus. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Right now I've got a Tamarac camera bag and too many straps. That added with an assault pack and a rifle with sling are straight hazardous to my health. So I would like to keep my still camera gear on a leg. I have checked out a few online tactical gear sites, lightfighter.com, etc. But if I went that route I would have to adapt ammunition pouches and miscallaneous gear carriers, and I would prefer something built for what I want it for.
Once again, Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am deploying soon and need to take care of this.

I'd still suggest talking to Brad over at lightfighter - he might just make you exactly what you want. He's done custom gear in the past.

just an idea, but, get in touch with black hawk industries. They make all type of ballistic gear that swat teams and the miliatry uses. Stay safe and thanks for all you do.
