Today, while I was at the local camera emporium, I spotted a Mamiya 645E sitting in what is left of the medium format case, looking all lonely and forlorn. I just couldn't stand to leave it there like that, so I adopted it and gave it a good home. Sort of like a puppy, but I don't have to feed it our paper train it.

That was a terribly kind gesture Ed. I'm surprised more people aren't doing it with Mf gear at the bargain prices they're at currently.Remember these adopted MFs need lots of excercise so we can keep what little film industry have left alive!
Good one. You will never regret it and be tempted to buy the odd lens if you come across one. If you get to buy a similar 6x6, 6x7, 6x9 or larger you probably will be tempted after your 645 experience.
Enjoy
Paul
You'll enjoy the step up to MF. I've been shooting Mamiyas and Hasselblads for 25+ years. The image quality is so much better than 35mm and digital. Used MF cameras and lenses are being sold at bargain prices these days and a true photo enthusiast is gaining from everyone elses' loss.
