Mamiya 35 MM cameras

What can anyone tell me about them?

One of the guys working on my house saw some of my equipment and was telling me about some cameras he had. He brought them over and thay are some old Mamiya 35 MM cameras. One is a DSX 1000 and the other is a 500TL. There are some lenses that are with them but have not had the time to look at everything yet. Thanks

A good friend of mine had a 500 in the 70's and it was a great camera. It's hard to say how good they are after more than 30 years of use or lack of use. you would have to try it out to see if it was still good.

The Mamiya 35s never had a very big share of the market, but were pretty well built cameras. I never owned one, but here is some detailed info.
