Lenses for D70s

Wanted to know what lens combination would be good for my D70s. I just have the lens (18mm-70mm) that came with the camera. Wanted something really wide angle for desert panoramas and a good telephoto for nature shots. Price is a factor-Thanks

The 12mm - 24mm zoom is excellent, as is the 80mm - 200mm. The real question is what is your budget?

Gary,

For wide angle, you may also want to look at the Sigma 10-20mm, Tamron 11-18mm and Tokina 12-24mm. These lenses were reviewed by Peter Burian in the February 2006 issue of Shutterbug.

For tele, look at the Nikon 55-200mm DX lens; it's a little slow in focusing, but image quality is reportedly excellent.
