Hi there ,what would be better like a walkaround lense for my 30D , a 17mm/85 or 28mm/135 ( from Canon )

kind of depends on what you consider normal. Personally I'd get a 20mm f2.8 which translates to about 30mm, and consider that my normal lens because I prefer wide angles. I also prefer light single focal length lenses that can be hand held.

I've got the Canon 28-135/3.5-5.6 EF IS USM and I really like it. It covers about 90% of my day-to-day photo needs and is essentially always on the front of my camera. If you prefer a wider angle, try the Canon 10-22/3.5-4.5 EF-S USM and if it's a longer lens you're craving I think the Canon 70-200 F2.8 L IS USM is probably your best bet.
Just my opinion though...
